Our purpose
The Purpose of the Association is to:
- encourage and strengthen businesses operating in Portarlington and on the Bellarine (“the Community”) by holding informal networking events;
- inform members through regular and factual information about projects activities that may impact business decisions and directions within the Community;
- strengthen the profile of businesses within the Community;
- encourage engagement with and support for businesses within the Community;
- provide a means for business operators in the Community to connect with local and other government bodies;
- represent and advocate for shop traders, commercial enterprises, trades and services, professional services, tourism and accommodation within the Community; and
- advocate for the interest and benefits of the members, and for the postcode 3223 community as a whole.
